It was a simple idea but along the way i more and more enjoyed this project. I really love all the different colors, structures and shapes of a leaf. Some leafs are really thin while others are almost like leather and very solid.
Freshly fallen leaves are heavier, the longer they stay outside or in my house the more they dry out and the lighter they become.
I only take leaves that lie loose on the ground.
Starting from leaf number #0156 the criteria for the leaf size is:
A tiny leaf is maximum 2 centimeters long.
A small leaf is 2,01-15 centimeters long.
A medium leaf is 15,01-25 centimeters long.
A big leaf is 25,01 - xxx long.
This is the work folder i use to carry the leafs, also some punched pockets.
This is my A3 scanner, it's a Mustek P3600 CCD A3 scanner, the benefits of a CCD scanner is that it also can scan neon colors for my art on paper while a CIS scanner can't do that. Unfortunately my scanner is a bit old so it's not perfect.
For now i think i will keep this project open for the next few years, i u want to check out my other projects just visit my website.
